Erected by ARCHIBALD SIMPSON in memory of his son JOHN who died 11th June 1859 aged 5 years. Also JANET WILSON his wife who died 9th August 1860 aged 54 years. Also his sisters ALICE SIMPSON who died 21st January 1885 aged 42 years. JANET SIMPSON who died 23rd June 1888 aged 56 years.
