In memory of Lieut ADAM MURRAY of the 57th Regiment of Foot died at Swinton 1st January 1825 aged 41 years.

Man cometh forth and flowers are cut down. He fleeth also as a shadow and continueth not. Job XiV2.

Here also repose the review a much-loved and lamented friend, husband Lt. EGLINTON MONTGOMER of 37th Regiment Foot who died at Newtown Coldstream 9th September 1860 aged 51 years.

Also ANN P. MURRAY his wife at Fireburnmill 21st November 1845 aged 61 years.
