Erected by Alexander Moore in memory of Elizabeth his wife who died at Murton March 14th 1863 aged 72 years.

Also the above Alexander Moore who died at Murton White House October 16th 1870 aged 77 years.

Also Thomas their son died at Tweedmouth July 20th 1873 aged 40 years.

Also Jane their daughter and wife of George Johnson who died at Spittal 13th April 1891 aged 54 years
