Erected by John and Jane Darling in memory of George their son who died at Norham West Mains November 25th 1876 aged 21 years.

Also Henry their son died February 4th 1877 aged 1 year.

Also James their son who died at Grindon Ridge March 27th 1880 aged 21 years.

Also the above John Darling who died at Norham 17th February 1910 aged 85 years.

Also Jane Darling wife of the above 1•rho died at Ryton-on-Tyne October 21st 1923 aced 94 years.

Also Walter Darling their grandson who was killed in action in France September 18th 1918 aged 27 years. Also Euphemia their daughter who died at Coldstream March 24th 1891 aged 24 years.

Also David their son who died at Norham Boathouse November 21st 1891 aged 24 years.

Also John their son who died October 27th 1900 aged 39 years.

Also Alice his widow who died January 1st 1899 aged 38 years. Also Robert their eldest son who died January 27th 1919 age<l 68 years also Isabella wife of the above who died 5th January 1924 aged 76 years.
