In memory of George Hall, farmer in Houndridge, Roxburghshire an Elder in the United Secession Church, Kelso, a man remarkable for humility and piety who died suddenly 17th April 1844 aged 50 years.

'Behold I come as a thief blessed is he that watcheth and keepeth his garments. 1   Rev.XVI. 15.

Also of his wife Janet Hall who died at York 13th September 1900 aged 85 years.

Jane daughter of the above born 3rd June 1842 died at Berwick­ on-Tweed 2nd September 1909
