Their father was Charles Borthwick they lived at Mindrum Mill  they also had a son John and a daughter  Janet.

Probate  for Alexander Borthwick of Mindrum Mill he died  28th October 1925  He left £24448 4s 3d

Proved on the 28th October 1925

At some point they moved into HAymount in Coldstream as Patricia died there  on 30th June 1933
