Erected by JOHN KERR in memory of ANN his daughter who died at Coldstream 26^th October 1886 aged 19 months. Also MARJORY ANN SHIEL beloved wife of JOHN KERR who died 25^th March 1916 aged 64 years. Also the above JOHN KERR who died 15^th December 1934 aged 84 years. (Collapsed headstone).

Commentary

John Kerr was born in Coldstream and formerly lived with his father William and mother Helen. In 1851 they were recorded as living at Quarry House while in 1861 they lived at Butterlaw.
