In memory of  WILLIAM JOHNSTON Bootmaker Coldstream who died 5^th August 1897 aged 73 years.

Also of ELIZABETH DODDS his wife who died 5^th April 1902 aged 72 years

Commentary

In 1861 they lived in 50 High St. He employed 15 men and 1 boy. In 1871 they were living in the Blue Bell on the high st.

In 1891 he was in 54 high st The Post Office

His wife Elizabeth was born in Eccles in 1830.
