Erected by WILLIAM INGLIS in memory of GEORGE his son who died 22d April 1862 aged 15 years.

Also JAMES his son died Newcastle October 8th 1875 aged 25 years. Also JOHN his son died 21st February 1878 aged 19 years.

Also the above WILLIAM INGLIS who died at Springhill 12th May 1885 aged 58 years.

Also MARY YULE his beloved wife who died at Prenderguest Ayton 4th August 1895 aged 71 years.
