Erected by ANDREW DAVIDSON Mason Coldstream in memory of WILLIAM son who died 30 April 1833 aged 4 years.

Also THOMAS son who died 5 May 1833 aged 2 years.

Also said ANDREW DAVIDSON who died 1 March 1867 aged 65 years.

Also ISABELLA DAVIDSON wife who died 7 February 1884 aged 83 years.

Also JAMES son who died at Newcastle on Tyne 13 October 1907 aged 62 years.

Commentary

Andrew Davidson was born at Kelso, occupation Mason Journeyman and he lived 20 New Road. Wife Isabella was born at Kelso. In the 1851 census, also living in the house was an Aunt Elspeth Jeffrey aged 90 described as a pauper, also Alison Henderson, described as a Washer Woman.
