In loving memory of JESSIE daughter of WILLIAM AITCHISON who died at Leith 19 June 1891 aged 29 years. Also MAGGIE his daughter who died Oxenrig 14th Jany 1870 aged 5 years. Also MAY WILSON his wife who died at Leith 6 June 1899 aged 63 years.

Commentary

William Aitchison was born in Berwickshire and lived at Oxenrig, his occupation a Farmer. In the census, there is also a mention of a wife, Isabella born in England.
