In memory of JAMES WILSON late fewar in Coldstream who died 26 February 1821 aged 94 years. By grandson JAMES KERR at present residing in London. (Latter part broken off). (Little stone at rear showing RN).

Commentary

This head  was the very first grave to have a mort safe placed over it.
