This is a cross, which is very close to the Davison one. In memory of MARGARET STORY died 2nd February 1867 aged 61 years

Commentary

In 1861 Margaret Story aged 55 was living in Coldstream New Town.  Margaret lived with Margaret S Jameson, her 20 year old Niece and Elizabeth M Jameson, her 18 year old Niece.  Margaret’s occupation is listed as a Fund Holder.  She was born in Cardross, Perthsire.
