Erected by ALEXANDER McDOUGALL in loving memory of WILLIAM his eldest son who died at Leitholm 1st May 1904 aged 36 years. 

Also MARGARET SLIGH wife of the above who died 25th April 1920 aged 83 years.

Also the above ALEXANDER McDOUGALL who died 31st December 1939 in his 94th year.

Also their daughter CATHERINE McDOUGALL who died 6th August 1960 aged 80 years.
