In memory of Jane RUTHERFORD  the sister of Thomas HASTIE  who erected this stone who died at Coupland Lodge. August 22nd 1837 aged 73 years.

Also her husband. Matthew RUTHERFORD who died at Akeld May 12th 1846 aged 80 years.

Mary RUTHERFORD their daughter who died at Akeld. March 5th. 1877 aged 81 vears.

Matthew RUTHERFORD their son who died at Akeld.  November 13th. 1882 aged 87 vears.
