In loving memory of Margaret Marion MATTHEWSON. dearly beloved wife of Robert SCOTT who died at Kilham 27th. Sept. l 932 aged 65 years.
Also the above named Robert SCOTT who died at Kilham 17th. July 1933 aged 68 years.
Also their son. Private John SCOTT. killed in action 29th. Oct. 1917 aged 21 years.
Also their daughter Ann SCOTT. died 18th. Feb. 1947.
And Robert their son who died 8th Nov. 1979 aged 78 years.
Military record
Private John Scott, 1st Battalion, Northumberland Fusiliers att. Light Trench Mortar Battery. He died of wounds in France on 29th October 1917 of wounds received in action, aged 21. He was the son of Robert and Margaret Scott of Kilham, Mindrum, Cornhill-on-Tweed and is buried in Favreuil British Cemetery, Bapaume,Somme, France.
