 In memory of JOHN GILROY died 28 February 1847 aged 82 years. Having held the situation of Gardener at Ewart Park during the last 55 years of his life.

Also of CATHERINE his wife who died 9 August 1844 aged 7 4 years.

 Also of their children, JAMES who died at Wooler 18 October 1845 aged 60 years 

 And ANDREW & ANN who died in infancy 1812.
