Erected in memory of ELIZABETH wife of ROBERT SCOTT,  of Beanley who died Apr 18^th 1821 ,aged 75 years. ROBERT SCOTT, husband, of the above who died Sept^r 16^th 1823, aged 77 years. ROBERT SCOTT, grandson, of the above who died at West Bolton Aug^t 31^st 1831 aged 13 years. Also JANE SCOTT, daughter,in law, to the above, ELIZABETH, and ROBERT SCOT   and mother, to thir [sic], grandson ROBERT, who died Ap^r 26^st 1832, aged 41 years.

[Inscription uses “thir” for “their” and 26^st for 26^th.]
