To the memory of ANDREW JEFFREY who died at Leitholm 11th May 1874 aged 65 years.

Also AGNES ROBERTSON his wife who died at Leitholm  6th September 18-- aged 87 years. This stone is erected by AGNES ROBERTSON his affectionate wife 1874.

Commentary

Andrew was born in Greenlaw and he and his wife had a grocer's shop in Leitholm. He also had a job of a hedger.

His wife Agnes was also born in Greenlaw.
