In Loving Memory of EDITH beloved wife of THOMAS SWAN, Crosways, Cornhill-on-Tweed, who died 26th Aug. 1947 aged 40 years.

Commentary

Edith was the daughter of George and Sarah Swan Sunnycroft  Donaldsons Lodge. She died of a brain  haemorrhage. She ran Tillmouth Park as a club for a number of years. Her husband Tom Swan came from Twizell Boathouse they were fishermen. He also had the Station Garage before John Rutherford.
