Erected by GEORGE BROWNLEES  of Hamilton, Victoria Australia, In Memory of ISABELLA, his mother who died at Cornhill, Feb. 15 1861 aged 70 years.

Also GEORGE BROWNLEES, his father who died at Cornhill, Nov. 23rd 1861 aged 78 years.

Commentary

George Brownlee was born in 1788 in Scotland. He had four sons and three daughters with Isabella Brownlees between 1816 and 1831. He died in December 1864 having lived a long life of 76 years.
