Erected in memory of  GEORGE OSWALD  Late of Wark Common who died at Coldstream  Aug ? 19?? aged 75 years.

Also of JANE DAVISON his wife who died at Coldstream Oct 1st 1906 aged 77 years

Commentary

George was born in Scotland his wife Jane was born at Carham  he was a farmer at Wark Common in 1881 he employd 9 men and two boys on the farm.
