Erected  by ANDREW & JANE NESBIT  in memory of their daughter JANE NESBIT who died at Wark 28th August 1885 aged 18 years. She has gone to her rest sweetly. . And her Spirit has passed away. Yes, just as the sun gently sinks in the west, so she fell asleep on Immanual 's breast, and Fake in the regions of the day 

Also the above ANDREW NESBIT who died at Kirknewton on the 22nd September 1895 aged 81 years, Also JANE FOULTON his wife who died at Heaton 22nd March 1909 aged 75 years
