Erected by JANE DAVIDSON in memory of her husband WILLIAM STENHOUSE who died at Wark 18th July 1895 aged 79 years.

Also the above JANE DAVIDSON  who died 4th March 1908, aged 87 years.

Commentary

William born in Kirk Yetholm his father Archibald Stenhouse. He was first married to Helen Renwick who died at Sprouston  and then Jane Daidson.  They had seven children. William was a Blacksmith
