Erected in memory of JOHN WILLIAM beloved son of ROBERT and MARY MOFFAT who died at West Flodden March 25th 1903 aged 3 years & 7 Months. And also EMILY, their daughter who died at West Flodden June 23rd 1909 aged 9 years. Also the above MARY MOFFAT who died at East Flodden April 4th 1911 aged 42 years. Also the above ROBERT MOFFAT who died at East Flodden Jan 23rd 1917 aged 49 years. And of EDITH their daughter who died at the Thirlings Jan 30th 1926 aged 20 years. And of INA A. MOFFAT their fourth daughter who died at East Flodden 23rd April 1935 aged 26 years.
