Erected by ANDREW MELROSE in memory of JOAN BOLTON his wife who died at Mardon 9th April 1901 aged 62 years. Also of the above ANDREW MELROSE who died at Mindrum 17th May 1913 aged 79 years. Also of ISABELLA MELROSE daughter of the above who died at North Hazelrigg  2nd Aug 1926 aged 38 years.
