Erected by JOHN BRUNTON in memory of his wife JANE BURNET who died 17th September 1820 aged 26 years.

Also his wife MABEL HEWIT who died 12th March 1847 aged  ??

Also his son GEORGE who died 15th December 1842 aged 2 years.

Also his daughter  MARY ANN died 10th January 1843 aged 4 years.

Also his daughter JANE died 4th February 1847 aged 11 years.

Also three of his children who died in infancy.

Alsothe said  JOHN BRUNTON who died 12th Hune 1854 aged 66 years.
