Erected by MARGARET LISLE in loving memory of her husband THOMAS COMMON who died at Melrose 25th October 1927 aged 64 years. Also her aunt MARY JANE LISLE who died at Belmont 10th June 1921 aged 75. Also the above MARGARET LISLE who died at Eckford Hall 4th June 1929 aged 64 years. Also ISABELLA COMMON daughter of the above who died at the Royal infirmary Edinburgh 18th February 1933 aged 32 years.
