Through Community Trust and History Society volunteers, the steps leading down to Jacob's Well have been laid with good gravel, making them tidier and safer. The path to the seat beside the river has also been cleared. It looks like the Woodland Trust, the owner of the woodland area, is going to work in partnership with our Community Trust to raise the standard of the site. Improvements will include:-
1) better signage;
2) an interpretation board;
3) further improvements to the well area; and
4) last, but very much not least, the felling of some trees near the bridge, so people can see our iconic brig.
