Invites Members and Visitor to a talk by Andrew Douglas Home of the Lees On his book entitled – “A river runs through me”
on Thursday 26th May, 2022 at 7.30p.m. in the Leet Room of the Community Centre.
Followed by wine and cheese
Andrew Douglas Home has written and recently published a book about his life of salmon fishing on the Tweed which also covers other aspects of his life at The Lees where he has spent much of his boyhood and most of his adult life.
On learning about the publication of the book, the committee of the Society felt that, in terms of local history, it was too good an opportunity to miss and was delighted when he agreed to give the talk, making it a late addition to our scheduled programme.
Visitors, along with Society members, are welcome to attend and the book will be available for purchase on the night with wine and cheese being served after the talk. Books will be available at a disscount price of £10.00. on the night. Retail price is £14.99
