Norham Churchyard Section A Row 5 – 4 – Park

Erected in the memory of Atchison PARK, Horncliffe who died April 9th 1846 aged 57 years.       

Also Ann his wife died July 26th 1857 aged 69 years. 

Also William their son who died February 3rd 1862 aged 43 years.         

 Also 5 of their children who died in infancy.   

Also Ann wife of Robert PARK who died September 5th 1875 aged 57 years.          

Also Robert PARK husband of the above who died May 9th 1889 aged 75 years

Norham Churchyard Section A Row 5 – 8 – Smith

 Sacred to the memory of Aaron Young SMITH of Horncliffe Loanend eldest son of Alexander and Agnes SMITH of Horncliffe who died 6th October 1845 aged 32 years.

He was greatly esteemed for amiable qualities and singularly filial affection and his loss deeply deplored.
‘Tho lost to sight to memory dear.’      

Also in memory of their children Thomas and Jane Fergy who died the former aged 14 years on the 20th and the latter on the 27th Septmber 1832 aged 15 years.

They were lovely and pleasant in their lives and in their deaths they were not divided.

Robert Smith MD their son died 22nd December 1848 aged 23 years.
The above Agnes SMITH died 3rd march 1864 aged 75 years and the above

Alex SMITH died 19th January 1871 aged 87 years.
George SMITH their son died 18th December 1882 aged 56 years, and is buried in the Northern Cemetery, Dunedin, New Zealand.

In loving memory of Robert WHITE the beloved son of Robert and Isabella WHITE who died 16th July 1897 aged 31 years.

We shall meet on the banks of the river, happy, happy there for evermore,

we shall dwell with the angels and join with the choral song our loved ones, loved ones gone before’.

Also the above Robert WHITE who died May 7th 1902 aged 67 years.

Also the above Isabella WHITE who died July 19th 1905 aged 73 years.

Sacred to the memory of Robert SWAN who died 6th September 1877 aged 71 years.

Also Eleanor his wife died 25th August 1842 aged 42 years. Dorothy their daughter died in infancy.

Mary Jane White died 14th November 1868 aged 6 months.

Erected by their grandchildren.

In memory of Amelia Ann STEWART wife of the Rev. J.W. MASON of Marrick, Yorks, born 4th September 1825 died 9th January 1898.

The Rev. J.H.MASON 67 years vicar of Marrick, Yorks. died 23rd October 1910 in his 90th year.

who died at Horncliffe 16th November 1918 aged 58 years.

Also William their son reported missing in France 26th March 1918 aged 25 years.

Also Jessie their daughter who died at Horncliffe 5th December 1929 aged 39 years.

Also the above Ellen STROTHER who died 1st November 1937 aged 76 years.

Also John their son who was killed in action in France 9th April 1917 aged 25 years interred in Bailleul Road Cemetery.

Also Mary Jane COWANS their daughter who died at Horncliffe 16th February 1919 aged 17 years.

Also the above James STROTHER who died 24th march 1935 aged 74 years.
