West Row 15 – 2 – Purves/Utterson/Dickson

Erected by THOMAS and JANET PURVES Milne Graden West Mains in loving memory of Peter their son who died 22nd June 1894 aged 3 years and 10 months.

Also WILLIAM UTTERSON their Nephew who died 29th June 1894 aged 4 years. (little Children abide in  him)  Also their son who died in infancy.

Also JANET YOUNGER DICKSON widow of WILLIAM UTTERSON and mother of the above JANET PURVES who died at Mountfair 30th November 1897 aged 72 years.

Also JANET UTTERSON wife of the above who died 6th January 1900 aged 38 years.

Also Private JAMES PURVES son of the above died of wounds received at the Dardanelles 12th July 1915 aged 19 years

Also the above THOMAS PURVES who died 20th April 1933 aged 73 years.

Erected in memory of ALEXANDER YOUNG a native of Forfarshire who died at Ruthven 18th June 1894 aged 22 years.

In loving memory of my Beloved Husband WILLIAM HERMISTON who died at Crooks Cottages 4th December 1921 aged 63 years.

Also JAMES ALEXANDER son of the above who died 13th February 1921 aged 16 years.

Also CHRISTINA WAITE his wife who died 2nd November 1951 aged 88 years .

And WILLIAM HERMISTON son of the above died 6th April 1988 aged 87 years.

Erected by WILLIAM ANDERSON Darnchester in memory of MARY WINTER his wife who died 7th April 1894 aged 50 years.

Also MARY WINTER their daughter who died 6th June 1902 aged 24 years.

Also the above WILLIAM ANDERSON who died at Whitelaw 3rd May 1907 aged 66 years

Also HELEN MAY is daughter who died at Wootton Bridge Isle of Wight 19th November 1939 aged 41 years.

Also his wife MARGARET JANE LOTHIAN who died 12th September 1941 aged 76 years.
