To the memory of ROBERT COSENS WEIR of Bogangreen Capt. 1st Royals who died at Nusserbad India 3rd September 1867 aged 27.

Erected by his affectionate widow CAROLINE L. A. IRWIN 1968.

This tablet is erected in memory of GEORGE WEIR Esq. of Kames. Lieutenant in the 32nd Regiment of Foot who was barbarously killed by rebels at St Denis in Lower Canada 23rd November 1837 while in the zealous discharge of his duty to his country.
