IHS In Memory of JAMES WALTER WHITLIE, son of JAMES WHITLIE, late tenant of Harper Ridge and St. Cuthberts, who died 25th Jul. 1895 aged 38 years.
At bottom of stone - Also JANET DALZELL his grand mother who was interred here.
Erected by JAMES YOUNGER in memory of MARY his wife who died at Presson Septr. 4th 1878 aged 63 years. ISABELLA their daughter died August. 2nd 1840 aged 2 years. MARGARET their daughter died July 10th 1846 aged 4 years. RALPH their son died Decr. 20th 1855 aged 3 years. JOHN their son died Decr. 23rd 1855 aged 7 years. Also the above JAMES YOUNGER who died at Akeld, May 12th 1883 aged 73 years.
Erected by WILLIAM SCOTT, Fisherman, Coldstream, In Memory of MARY MITCHELL his wife who died 3 Feb. 1837 aged 55 years. Also of ALISON SMITH his wife who died 14th Sept. 1864 aged 61 years. Also the above WILLIAM SCOTT who died 12th Sept. 1872 aged 88 years.
Erected by MARY SCOTT, Tweedmill, In Memory of JOHN SCOTT her husband who died 17th Sept. 1849 aged 59 years. Also HELEN his daughter who died 9th May 1838 aged 3 years. And DAVID his son who died 12th May 1838 aged 10 years. Also the above MARY SCOTT who died at Tweedmill, 29th November 1876 aged 85 years.
Stone difficult to read these days. In affectionate remembrance of ISABELLA, beloved wife of WILLIAM WADE, who died at Lowick, Feb. 15th 1880 aged 25 years
