Erected by MARGARET HOWNAM, In Memory of her husband WILLIAM HOWNAM, who died at Ford, April 28th 1830, aged 31 years. WILLIAM HOWNAM, son of the above, who died at Ford, May the 6th 1848 in the 22nd year of his age. GEORGE HOWNAM, son of the above, died at Ford, March 29th 1860, aged 32 years. Also of MARGARET CRISTAL, wife of THOMAS CRISTAL and mother of the above, who died at Ford, Feb. 12th 1863 aged 62? years.
In Loving Memory of DAVID BROWN, late of Earle, Northumberland, died Jan. 25th 1893 aged 82. ISABELLA his wife, born Oct. 16th 1809, died March 5th 1890. Eleanor, their daughter, died Jan. 6th 1843 aged 4 years. DAVID HOWNAM of Earle who died at Middlesrough august 15th 1878 aged 74 years.
Sacred to the Memory of the Rev. WILLIAM HOWNAM, Minister of the Scotch Church, Lowick, who died there on the 25th day of February 1867, in the 49th year of his age and the 19th year of his Ministry. Also ELEANOR ATKIN wife of THOMAS HOWNAM and mother of the above who died at Kelso on the 8th day of November 1870 in the seventy third year of her age. Also the above mentioned THOMAS HOWNAM who died at Kelso on 25th day of January 1873 aged 76 years. Also ISABELLA HILLSTON, widow of the Rev. W. HOWNAM, who died at Dunse, 28th August 1881 aged 62 years.
In Memory of DAVID HOWNAM who died at Middlesbrough, 12th Aug. 1878, aged 74 years.
In Living Remembrance of AGNES TAYLOR, wife of JOHN TAYLOR, who died at Riffington, June 9th 1885 aged 65 years. Also the above JOHN TAYLOR who died at Riffington, Novr. 7th 1885, aged 73 years.“THY WILL BE DONE”
In Loving Memory of JAMES CURRY, who died 6th March 1885, aged 61 years. Also GRACE CURRY, his wife who died 6th July 1864, aged 38 years. Also their three children who died in infancy.
