Sergeant Thomas Forster

Sergeant Thomas Alan Forster, Wireless Operator/ Air Gunner, Royal Air Force Volunteer Reserve. He was a Member of 219 Squadron Royal Air Force and died at Home on 30th April 1941, aged 24. He was the son of Thomas and Elizabeth Forster of Wooler and the husband of Rebecca Forster. He is buried in Wooler ( St. Mary ) Church Burial Ground. 219 Squadron was a Night Fighter Unit which at that time operated from R.A.F. Manston and flew the Bristol Beaufighter Mark 1.
