Pilot Officer Ralph Lowrey

Pilot Officer Ralph William Lowrey, Royal Air Force. ( Possibly ) He was killed on Air Operations on 8th June 1944. He was a Pilot with 408 ( Goose ) Squadron, Royal Air Force and is commemorated on the Runnymede Memorial. Surrey. This squadron was a Royal Canadian Air Force Squadron under R.A.F. operational command and in June 1944 flew the Avro Lancaster from R.A.F. Linton-on-Ouse. He was lost with all his crew on a raid on the Rail Yards at Acheres. The aircraft LL643 EQ-Q was lost without trace.
