Private Thomas Lowe

Private Thomas William Lowe, 3rd Battalion, Coldstream Guards. He was killed in France by shellfire during a heavy bombardment  on 13th October 1915 during the Battle of Loos and is commemorated on the Loos Memorial, Dud Corner, Loos, France. Before the War he had been employed as a fireman on the North East Railway. At that time the Battalion held frontline trenches in the " Fosse 8 " sector
