Gunner Daniel Glass, 13th Coy. Royal Garrison Artillery. He died at Home on 19th January 1916, aged 26. He was the son of Mrs E. Glass of 45 Church Street, Berwick-upon-Tweed and is buried in Felixstowe New Cemetery. His Headstone is inscribed ” Peace Perfect Peace”. The R.G.A. used the 9.2 inch Howitzer to destroy strong points and trench systems with its plunging fire. They also used the 60 pounder gun one of which is illustrated here.
