Private Andrew R. Smith, “Y” Coy.,19th ( Service ) Battalion, Durham Light Infantry. He died in France on 16th April 1916, aged 19. He was the son of George and the late Anne Smith of Tweedmouth and is buried in St. Vaast Post Military Cemetery, Richebourg-L’Avoue, Pas de Calais, France. His Headstone is inscribed ” Loved By All”.
