Lance Corporal Robert Mitchell, M.M., ( possibly ) 2nd/4th ( Territorial ) Battalion, King’s Own Yorkshire Light Infantry. He died of wounds in France on 27th September, 1918 suffered during the ” Advance to Victory ” and is buried in Grevillers British Cemetery, Pas de Calais, France. The photos show Allied troops advancing during the final 100 days of the War.
