Flight Lieutenant ( Flying Instructor ) Michael Clifford Knight, Royal Air Force. He was killed in a flying accident on 20th May 1943 whilst flying from Milfield Aerodrome aged 22. He was the son of Clifford and Ethelburgh Knight of Bushey Heath, Hertfordshire and is buried in Kirknewton ( St. Gregory ) Churchyard, Kirknewton, Wooler, Northumberland.
