Warrant Officer George Harry Neate, Royal Canadian Air Force. He was killed in a flying accident on 6th November 1942 flying from Milfield aerodrome. He was the son of Harry and Emma Neate and the husband of Hazel Neate of Edmonton, Alberta, Canada. He is buried in Kirknewton ( St. Gregory ) Churchyard, Kirknewton, Wooler, Northumberland. His Headstone is inscribed ” In Life One of The Finest In Death One Of The Brave. Lovingly Remembered”.
