Corporal Patrick Grant Thomson, 1st Battalion, Wiltshire Regiment. He died on Service in the Red Cross Auxiliary Military Hospital in Rochdale, Lancashire on 29th November 1918, aged 23 and is buried in Edinburgh ( Grange ) Cemetery. He was the son of John Stuart and Isabella Gordon Thomson of The Manse, Maxton and had been born at Carlisle.
