Private John Wilson, 1011th Motor Transport Coy. Royal Army Service Corps. He died on active service in Lebanon on 28th October 1918, aged 38. He was the son of Thomas Wilson, Lowick and the husband of Mrs. J.A.Wilson, Lowick and is buried in Beruit War Cemetery, Lebanon. His Headstone is inscribed ” For Ever With The Lord Amen So Let It Be”.
