Private James Voy

Private James Lillie Voy, 1st/4th ( Territorial ) Battalion ,Kings Own Yorkshire Light Infantry. He died of wounds in Belgium on 24th August 1918 during the ” Advance to Victory ” aged 23. He was the son of James and Margaret Voy of New Haggerston, Beal, Berwick-upon-Tweed and is buried in Adinkerke Churchyard Extension, Belgium. He was a native of Berwick Folly, Alnwick.
