Private James Thomson

Private James Thomas Thomson, 1st/4th ( Border ) Battalion, Kings Own Scottish Borderers. He died from disease in Egypt on 31st January 1917, aged 23. He was the son of James and Margaret Thomson of 16 Albert Place of Kelso and is buried in Kantara War Memorial Cemetery, Kantara, Egypt. His Headstone is inscribed ” He Died That We Might Live”.
