Private James Fox

Private James Fox, 6th (Service) Battalion, Kings Own Scottish Borderers. He died from wounds, aged 31, in France on the 30Th March 1916 and is buried in Bailleul Communal Cemetery Extension, Nord, France.  He had been born in Kelso and was the son of Jane and the late Adam Fox of Roxburgh Street, Kelso. He enlisted there in December 1914 landing with his Battalion in France in May 1915.
