Sub Lieutenant James Allen Luke, Royal Naval Volunteer Reserve. He was killed in a flying accident on 1st March 1944 aged 24. ( see entry for Sub Lt. Newburg-Hutchins above). He was the son of Samuel Paul and Anna Luke and the husband of Barbara Laura Luke of Lee-on the Solent, Hampshire.
