Driver Robert Gillespie, Royal Army Service Corps. He died on Service in hospital in the Wirral, Cheshire on 23rd May 1944, aged 42. He had been born in Eyemouth and was the son of William and Janet Gillespie of Northburn Road, Eyemouth and the husband of Margaret Craig Gillespie of Beach House, Eyemouth and is buried in Eyemouth Kirkyard.
